i find myself being more into games of skill like Hunt Showdown which give the user a lot of room for expression and has a high skill ceiling

you can't even really form an opinion about deadlock until you've spent like 40-50 hours playing it. like i said, it's a big initial time investment to figure it out. that's the biggest knock against it, and it's a legitimate one. but if you like competitive pvp games, and spending time mastering them well enough to express yourself in them as a player, it's probably the best one out right now
