Iran has been anticipating something like this as a possible scenario for years and years. I'll bet they planned out pretty good contingencies for what to do if you come to find out that your direct command isn't giving you orders and may have been killed. And I'll bet one of those contingencies is "keep your powder dry until you get clearer orders."
If they successfully tricked us into firing $1M missiles at painted images of F-14s on runways, I'll bet they've come up with tricky ways to conceal launchers and stuff. |

Now 3 days later, launches have dropped by 80% and you've had to change your story from "Iran can launch an overhwelming amount of missiles that Israel and the US can never stop" to "Of course Iran isn't launching that many missiles, any decent commander would save them!" |
