politics aside i thought it was gimmicky and uninspiring. it was like an apple commercial performed live (and was obviously produced by apple). if the "trick" is in the cinematography it makes live component of the performance superfluous and that should be the point of a halftime show. just pre-film it at that point.
i want to see someone ball out on stage. not singing for the camera. watching in person must have been lame as shit.
