The Iranians can't really do much about it at this point, their ability to track ships is down to zero - any radar that emits is going to eat a HARM or a JDAM now. They could try to park some howitzers by the shore and lob shells out, but I would bet the area is saturated with US reapers by now. In the worst case, we also have Burkes in the region that were basically designed for this task. |

I'm also not 100% sure of the US force composition in the region but I wouldn't be surprised to see some Marine Corps vipers on patrol if surveillance suggests this possibility.
