Been using the ds adapt max K and it's amazing. More forgiving than ping g440 max and way better feel off the face

Might have to look into their irons

Nice dude. Cobra is doing amazing things right now.

I went back and forth between the 2H and 3H, but figure I can adjust loft down to 19 (from 17) in case I ever want to adjust my gapping.

Thinking of building out a 12 degree one as my thriver/mini driver. 12 degree g425 has been good but I hate the sound and feel

I don’t understand mini drivers unless it’s just a driver replacement like the 2H will be for me. When would you use it over a driver?

I use my Callaway ti340 on super narrow fairways or dog legs. I could use my 4W (17*) for almost the same distance, but the mini launches higher and straighter with a more predictable flight off the tee

Also use the mini from rough to bump it back onto fairway if it's in a crispy lie or under a tree with a 1/4 swing when I need to stay low to avoid branches

Also would only consider Callaway for mini driver

Titleist and TM mini drivers seem LESS forgiving and no idea why anyone gets those

This would be strictly off the tee and would take the 3W place in my bag.

45.5" 9-10 degree Driver on Trackman is 290 max, ~265 average on a good strike.

43.75-44" 13 degree 2W/thriver is 270 max, 250 average on a good strike.

Use the 2W on tighter holes, holes where there's no great benefit to an extra 15-20 yards, holes that favor a draw. Generally about a 50-50 split on par 4s and 5s between the 2, other than the odd par 4 that forces an iron or hybrid.

Nice man. Hopefully one day I can achieve this level of complexity. Right now my driver and 3w are unreliable so I hit a 5H off all par 4s and 5s. It’s a reliable 170 yard club for me but I’m hoping the 2H can get me up near 200.

I can't hit a 3w off the deck with any consistency. Off the tee, like most mid handicappers, I get more benefit from the larger face of the driver than hitting a 3W. Hence the "2W" build as a secondary club off the tee. I hit ~10% more fairways with the 2W than driver in the 30 rounds I've had this set up, so I think it makes sense.

The 3w is such a shitty club man wtf is even the point with all these viable options. I feel like so many people carry it but very few can hit it at all. Gonna go throw mine in the trash brb

They're crazy cheap right now too but I only see 12* in women's

Which might be ideal for a shorter shaft "mini" config

The ff33 adapter also lets you loft up the 10.5 to 11.9 or 12.5 while keeping standard lie

I don't want to change face angle too much and add a left bias start line though. Would rather a 12 lofted up to 13 or kept at 12, depending on what the launch conditions look like.

The whole point of ff33 is that it can change loft without any impact to face angle at all

That's what I meant by keep standard lie. You can also adjust the loft up and down in similar amounts and simultaneously bend the face upright or flat in increments of ~.7

Basically the ds adapt is taking all the guess work out of BUYING, while creating a possible downside of paralysis of options in the TUNING

There's always crazy good deals on cobra stuff. I sold my 2 year old ping i230s for $300 more than I paid for "demo" cobra king tours that were still in the wrapper.
