no but hes 180 for doing it anyways. the first trump presidency was basically him getting people to acknowledge the deep state. nothing else happened but he gets credit for it.

Depends on the degree to which the public is willing to listen. It's a topic where changing minds on what's already established is the majority of the fight

Companies that sell these products are going to get shamed over it, and there's nothing the government can do about it.

Yes. Here's why the next HHS Secretary, RFK Jr., is going to be at least moderately successful:

1) He's personally knowledgeable about these issues and has cultivated a following of other people who understand how SPS our food is who he can rely on for this undertaking. Won't be outsourcing it to General Mills lobbyists.

2) He already has money and fame and is too old to care about accumulating more of it. He's like 70 with a weird voice; he cares about his pet issues and understands he's not going to be POTUS himself. This is his last chance to leave a legacy and he's not going to fumble it.

3) His endorsement was a critical vibeshift in the 2024 election. Since Kamala's coup, she got an astonishing polling bump among Democrats, with the MSM nonstop pumping her. You can literally look at polling -- his endorsement coincides almost perfectly with Trump reversing this month-long bleeding and recapturing ground. All of which is to say he has the political capital with the boss himself to make whatever he wants happen to actually happen with approval from the top.

seems like there is huge conflict between corporatist GOP and all of this. hard to envision Trump turning the GOP into an anti-Pharma/anti-Chemicals In Everything party without staunch resistance.

Wow, I guess you're right. Trump has clearly failed to contain corporatist GOP before on things like immigration and trade deals!

not really the same thing. we'd need to get the federal government far, far up the ass of thousands of huge multinational companies turning over their whole business model and 'regulating' them obsessively, mooting all the controversies about 'vaccines' and 'additives' legally, etc. that's a hard sell.
