The healthy thing long-term would be to actually decrease USD hegemony because world energy supply growth hit a peak from a per capita standpoint. This triggered both the sharp rise in debt as well as the ongoing (and increasing) conflicts between world powers (currently through proxy wars.)
My beef with someone like Jiang is that he basically "yada yadas" away the unbelievable level of dislocation that would take place across all economies if Trump had the sort of pow wow he pushes for. Then again, it's very easy to just mouth of when you're a faggot professor with no skin in any game whatsoever. |
