2. can we all agree that scar is the most badass disney villain? i think the key here is that scar is weak at the start of the movie (cf. jafar, prince john, evil queen, gaston, ursula, etc.) and we get to see him *take* power with an ingenious plot that absolutely pwns simba and his dad.
3. scar's biggest fuck up is not tapping dat nala ass. she's able to go recruit simba when she should be pumping out cubs for scar's harem. is he gay? i imagine this is what they were trying to imply by juxtaposing his british voice and effete mannerisms with chill, alpha american lion james earl jones.
4. i think they did scar dirty by having the kingdom fall apart under his rule. he's smart enough to understand big savannah economics and keep that shit humming.
5. hakuna matata is a blatant ripoff of bare necessities (thematically, not musically). imo this taints the movie. oc simba being a giant faggot toolbag also taints it. |

Scar, with is "sophisticated" British accent (read, European "progressive" attitude) brings his perversion and miscegenation to the previously pure Savannah, ruled by the uber-katze (note the typically Aryan features of blonde fur and strong, square jaw-line).
With his borderline-incestuous designs on his brother's widow, along with integration of the genetically inferior hyenas (note their facial resemblance to the classic minstrel make-up work) Scar brings about both the economic and moral decay of the Savannah. Nala even tells Simba that the entire Savannah has become a wasteland due to the scavenging habits of the hyenas (read, handouts and welfare crippling the the actual productive members of the society).
Simba is able to restore order to the Savannah by overthrowing the physically inferior, sexually perverted, and typically "conniving" foreign-influenced Scar who is then betrayed by the very same hyenas he integrated (read, minority backlash, riots, and crime when "handouts" are cut), and the Savannah returns to it's previously harmonious "circle of life," now that natural order rules and the genetic inferiors accept their place in society.
Disney had his shit together when it came to racial politics in the US. |
