Even if you leave aside college football blue bloods, Cal (Rodgers and Goff), Stanford (Elway, Plunkett), Purdue (Brees, Dawson, Griese), BYU, are all better. Hell, Northern Iowa has Kurt Warner who accomplished more of note than every Oregon QB combined.
USC is actually very comparable to Oregon tbqh, there isn't much difference between Carson Palmer and Dan Fouts, and nobody gives a shit about pre SB era olds. USC has also produced a slew of mid qbs better than Oregon's busts. And if we are talking current day then Darnold and Williams are pretty comparable to Nix and Herbert.
Also, Fouts isn't that much better than Hurts considering Fouts choked every chance he got when it mattered. |
