I bought shoes from Walmart for $19 instead of $100 and they are perfectly fine

i rate you shrewd, but not decadent. i got some cheap slippers from there that were 180. also some minimalist lifting shoes.
i don't think walmart stuff will compete with asics or new balance or anything for gel cushions/ankle support/running.

Wait two weeks
I bought some cheap sandals from a discount store once, they were knock offs of Keens. Horrific quality, they fell apart after very light wear. I ultimately bought some actual Keens and they are great.

you will come to find that the best thing about america is how cheap you can get material goods
the only good thing left about america, really. that and the bill of rights

Sometimes $19 Wal Mart or no-name Chinese Amazon shoes are OK. Sometimes they fall apart after a few wears or are very cheaply designed.
I have a pair of very cheap casual shoes that have actually held up decently. But, the construction seems to be no more than a flat piece of foam with some canvas sewn on top. They have essentially no structure and support, though they look OK and are OK for walking around in for short distances.

Shoes probably have one of the largest markups for branding of any class of products. The marginal performance between a branded shoe and some generic Walmart shoe is not going to be anywhere near the price change.
I have been running in Walmart $15-$20 shoes for a little over 10 years now and they’ve been surprisingly good as long as you know what you’re getting and the conditions they work in:
-they usually wear out early, or at least have faster initial wear. Some last for years, though
-they tend to be slippery on wet surfaces; the cheaper rubber has some different properties than higher quality shoes
-the cheaper rubber dyes they use to color the shoes will lift once your feet start sweating. Your running socks will turn red, blue, or whatever color they dye the inside.

all goy shoes are made in factories in china, there's no walmart shoe factory or even nike one really. they are contracted out. in china i went to this huge wholesale mall they have all sorts of shit, i got a suitcase and it had some fraud name on it but googled and exact suitcase was being sold to goys for like $80-100, i bought it for $25
lots of walmart target type shit cld be decent quality as they are made in a slightly lower level factory, thats it

i tried buying AMERICAN MADE NEW BALANCE shoes for a while, but the quality was trash.
they fell apart much faster than the cheap ass adidas i had been wearing, so i went back to them.
