Just two plungers inside their cylinders. Common rail injection. Can be rebuilt by a regular dealership tech without sending off to an injection shop. All that happens when they break is the plunger cracks in half. You pull the head off and remove the plunger to find it is separated into an upper half and a lower half. If it hasn't splintered up then you replace the plungers and done |
