three weeks of PTO starts today. what should i do?

Date: May 18th, 2024 11:04 AM Author: Contagious sanctuary candlestick maker job has been overloading me and stressing me out to the point where i started having panic attacks. now taking a huge dose of benzos to prevent the panic attacks and reduce the anxiety.
here’s what i have planned so far:
today and tomorrow: do basically nothing other than exercise. recovery from work.
one week from now: a friend will be in town and we plan on going hiking.
toward the end of PTO: spam my resume everywhere to find a less stressful job.
i have lots of free time. i don’t what to do with it. i just want to do nothing. |

Cook something interesting. You have time. Open a bottle of wine, put on some tunes, and spend a few hours making something great.
Start a fermentation project. You have time. Simple mason jar fermentations. Try a variety. Doesn’t have to be complicated. Just some carrots and salt in a jar with peppercorns. |

i’ve been getting direct work emails and messages every fucking day even though i’m on vacation. yesterday i logged out of all work systems and won’t check a fucking thing unless someone calls me.
haven’t shaved or showered since PTO started, starting to get smelly
weather has been good
might fly out to Los Angeles or San Diego in a few days |
