Date: May 17th, 2026 1:04 PM Author: fighting lay laser beams We have a great script about 1800s fur trappers making first contact with a PNW indian tribe based on a true story, extremely violent and almost a horro film but all based on real events. he's been suggested as the guy to make it. How are his films visually? I got the impression from trailers they were all really dark and not very cinematic

otoh, quirky period pieces do seem to be his thing. and his films seem to get a lot of attention and at least break even.
