Things they don’t make commercials for anymore

Date: May 26th, 2024 12:24 PM Author: Curious Angry Stag Film Private Investor When I was a kid there were ads for Static Guard, which was a spray can women used to stop “static cling,” which I think was when women’s dresses stuck to their stockings/hose. I still have no idea how this stuff worked or why it was needed. This wasn’t a one-off or fad product, these commercials were on all the time for years.
Also this thing called “Wisk,” which was supposed to get rid of “ring around the collar.” I guess women don’t do their men’s laundry anymore and/or men don’t wear collared shirts anymore. This product made no sense to me either, cause who even sees the inside of your shirt collar? |
