Preps hate the sight of an idle résumé. Time not converted into credential, title, or rung is rot; gaps are moral failures.

Jocks hate the sight of an idle body. Muscles at rest too long read as softness, decline, surrender.

Nerds hate the sight of an idle system. A PC not compiling, simulating, scraping, or emulating is an unforgivable waste of cycles.

Scumbags do not hate idling per se. They hate unperformed idling. An idling diesel truck, engine rumbling, smoke curling, sound dominating space, is active idleness: territorial, antagonistic, status-assertive. What they hate is quiet idleness: sitting still without noise, exhaust, vibration, or audience. Idling must be imposed on others to count.

Blacks hate the sight of idle respect. Status unperformed, unasserted, or unvalidated publicly evaporates.

I wish we had a measurement of most idle time per console, but everyone already knows the PS5 will win that metric haha

Good question. I feel like people are bigger Losers now. I think it’d be a 90s console. have a hard time imagining 90s kids playing Sega Genesis for hours and hours. Possibly n64 due to its lack of games.
