US special envoy Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun tells Thailand: "Stop being Anti Semitic"

Rabbi Yehuda Kaploun, the US special envoy to monitor and combat antisemitism, said the State Department remained in close contact with Thai authorities to ensure the Jewish community was protected during the Jewish holiday season.
His comments came after protests targeting Israeli visitors and Jewish activities, including a demonstration near the Chabad House in Phuket, where a planned Rosh Hashanah gathering was later cancelled over security concerns.
Kaploun wrote: “I am deeply concerned by rising antisemitic rhetoric in Thailand. The State Department remains in close contact with Thai authorities to ensure that the Jewish community is protected during the holiday season.”
