back in 2019, i completed CBA negotiations with a really difficult union. we had a federal mediator involved. the union rep and mediator have known each other for years and i got along with the union guy.
after we finished (around 9 pm), the union rep took me out in the hall and said "hey, fuckhead. joe [mediator] and i are gonna go get a drink. come with us." i had to sneak around the side of the hospital bc the client couldn't see this but i jumped in his truck and we went out drinking. the mediator peeled off about an hour into it, and me and the union guy were out for 2-3 hours. i got blackout drunk and he had to help me into my hotel room and i missed my flight the next morning.
then the next day i went to see the rolling stones in dc and was super high on coke. |

Look, I started smoking tobacco during Covid and it was a bitch to quit. I finally had to go on medicine to quit and I still take the medicine even now because I know I’m really gonna want to smoke in the middle of a week long trial or after a hard day and such circumstances would likely bust up my streak.
Before I went on the medicine but during previous efforts to quit I would line up my buddies before a get together and check to see if I should bring a pack of smokes to our get together “just in case” or to see if my friend still had that pack I asked him to hold the last time we were together, etc.
Please dont involve me in opening that door back up for you.
As for trying coke, I tried it once but I think it was all cut with baby powder because I didn’t get any noticeable effect. I would not mess with it again because I already drink more than I should and I don’t need another bad habit.
You posted once about going to cabin with some people but no one did anything drug related and you called them dorks on here. I am afraid I am such a dork.

likewise, the "JUST DO A LINE BRO!" shit is immature and reeks of insecurity. anyone pressuring people to drink after college, let alone into middle age, has a piece missing.

i was just funning around. i have zero desire to drink or do drugs again. i went so hard for so long that i am good leaving it in the past. i also hate AA types who demand people not drink around them. you can do whatever around me, and like gunner said you can even call me a faggot etc. and i will just laugh it up with you. |
