Poast new message in this thread

Sure. After majoring in political science, I attended one of America's top ranked law schools. It was there that I discovered the greatbort. I started out as a lurker before creating an account to ask for career advice. From there, I successfully transitioned to poasting about how askav and steez are actually 100% straight despite routinely engaging in activities that appear to be extremely homoerotic. The skills I developed in that position allowed me to become a big time IFNB poaster and later to expand into threads about how peterman takes enormous trucker cocks at our nation's interstate highway stops.
As you can see, I also have significant experience rating posters.

This question is so easy yet so mysteriously hard for sooo many people. There’s nothing worse than hearing someone ramble through their life story without highlighting what they think is good for the role.
A quality well thought out pitch gets you far as hell in my book

In all of my academic and professional experiences, I’ve demonstrated that I’m an excellent fit for X.
At X school, I did well in [Relevant classes] and solidified my interest in [field of job you’re interviewinf for]
I took [first job] because [rational reasons that follow from what you said before]. I learned X and excelled at [relevant shit]. Over time [logical reason for next job]
[Repeat as needed for subsequent jobs]
Going forward, id love to leverage my [skills you’ve already discussed above] in a role that provides [stuff that the job has that you’ve already proven you care about]. I’m confident this opportunity is an excellent fit and I’m excited to learn more about the role
*mic drop*
Fucking autists. It’s about pulling specific items from your story that highlight relevant skills so that it flows logically and makes you seem like the perfect candidate. Be salesy. Over time you’ll have it memorized and will be able to make subtle changes based on the particulars of the role you’re interviewjng for

I’m an investment banker with a 90% hit rate on high stress interviews where your story is scrutinized especially closely. Sup.
I think jay-z once said “don’t bark up that tree, that tree will fall on you”
Seems relevant here

I do like you more for getting that reference. Anyway suppose someone asks:
What are the principal levers that drive value in an LBO?
Walk me through the purchase accounting adjustments to the pro forma balance sheet in a stock merger
I just interviewed a guy with an engineering degree from MIT. Why should I hire you instead?
The interviews are often purposely high stress because interviewers are often shitheads and people use challenging questions to determine how you deal with pressure on the job.
It’s tough to convey whether or not I’m in what you call a dancing monkey frame without hearing and seeing my schpiel. The fact that you’re drawing conclusions based on that bare bones outline is more concerning than anything else - you can either be relaxed or figity, speaking too quickly or at a measured pace, be alternating tone or speaking in monotone like you’re reading a script, ect. What you say specifically is like only a quarter of the battle
