PC devs just use games as an Engineering exercise. Kojima deploys salarymen like a skilled artisan’s tools. Gabe is more like “let’s Engineer something” or probably more like “let’s Build things.” Half life 2 physics got him excited. Same for VR. A Normal fun game with no Engineering bent would bore him imo. |
