That will definitely happen by the time the Social Security fiscal cliff has to be dealt with. It won't run out of money until like 2033, but that's not the kind of thing you can wait until the very last minute to fix.
Suddenly sacred cows like tax cuts for the rich and every other veteran scamming the disability system are going to have to be looked at because Social Security is king when it comes to politics. That's the one bright spot for the Dems now- everyone will know that Republicans are going to want to make hard choices in favor of the rich. |
