its not, I do the latter as part of my practice - probate lit and conservatorships are a step up from family law IMO but mostly family members getting bitter over money when a relative passes away - just tons of drama and shit, lots of pettiness.
I'd much rather be a high volume trusts and wills dude with lots of good referrals (again, networking with financial planners and shit). These guys are also rainmakers in terms of referrals to other lawyers, as the people getting their wills and trusts done (usually 30-40 something yuppies) dont know any attorneys to call when some crap pops up(other than their biglaw neighbor who is useless for day to day "law").
