The movie takes no risks at all. It studiously avoids anything that anyone could be offended by. It is anti-male, anti-marriage, anti-children, and pro-shrew. Yes, yes, I knew that going in
At least the first one had some life to it
This is just warmed over Death , a microcosm of the total zombification of 10,000% blown out American society

Stanley tucci looks and sounds like shit, I thought he was 80. But he’s 65 and had mouth cancer which is why he mumbles and lisps and is hard to understand
He’s married to Emily blunt’s sister which is odd
Streep does a good job as always, blunt is forgettable, not a fan of Hathaway

The script doesn't really have any energy and the direction was pretty boring.
I think I've only seen the original once, but i thought this movie would be a lot flashier. It's pretty flat for being a high fashion movie with luxury international locations.
