I think the Full Trilogy will have legs over the years in terms of sales, like the Witcher 3 but with like 15% the volume. Only problem is that it'd be ridiculously long to play all at once, like Persona 5 or something. I can see why Rebirth had mediocre sales. Like Remake felt more complete since Midgar works decently as a self-contained story.

Was it harder than "name this game's trophy"? - It's all subjective, but I've gotten 100% on every other FF title (except 13, and the MMOs), Elden Ring, God of War 1+2, Bloodborne, Demon's Souls to name a few. And yes, I consider it harder than all of those

btw my approach with Games is to just do the main story unless something actually seems good. then after beating it, keep playing and do side content until I lose interest. Devs underestimate how autistic the players are. You give these OCD retards a bunch of shit to do and they'll do it.

The battle system is better than turn based. Objectively. Versus the original especially. Im not talking about FFT or Wachenroder style strategy RPGs. The original FF7’s battle system has you Attacking mindlessly 90% of the time. FF5-FF6 were both better in terms of gameplay iirc.

The card game is better than the FF8 card game (which is supposedly the best part of that shitty game)

This always happens with Sony systems. 90,000,000k units shipped. A big game comes out and no one buys it. The Console Itself is what people desire for some reason, not its Timed Exclusives or Exclusives. Never the games. A lot of westerners just use it as an Xbox and play COD and Madden. Idk why so many westerners don’t just get an actual Xbox.
