Dealt with shitty clients but still received high praise from them and got repeating clients how much better management has been since I had taken over. This venue/bar really only had one owner who had a say, smart mofo for their shady business practice bc they never documented anything! Never invested in his property just expecting me to take care of everything. Brought me on with no management training. Luckily i was more than competent. He would talk shit about me to my employees and im Sure to other managers. Then to come to find out i was getting paid significantly less and doing the most compared to my male counterparts.
So i wrote a long ass email about my concerns and discrepancies, then gets fired an hour later.
I know now the businesses are failing bc i still keep in contact with some people that still work there and they told me checks have been bouncing for 2/3pay periods.. shocker.
Sadly, this isnt my first time being employed by shitty employers who have fucked me over. 👍🏼
Been on unemployment for a month and been kind of difficult finding a full time job now. Also moving out of the city, so any remote job recs would be sick?!
