Doesn't even cover more than 2 years of a JD at Glorious CLS

There would also be new borrowing caps, or "aggregate limits," for undergraduates ($50,000), graduate students ($100,000) and professional programs ($150,000).

Should be the other way around.

That should make UMCs happy, because it would shut out everyone besides true UMCs from attending grad school.

Themis teaches everything you need to know for the bar exam at a price of $2,800.

I imagine they can find a way to still teach law to kids at 50x that price.

lower salaries (which are absurdly high for deans and profs), bigger 1L sections, fewer bullshit electives like Transgender Refugee Rights in East Congo that enroll like 5 students, and online only journals = lower tuition

Always loled when professors justified their sinecures based on the salaries they’d command in the private sector. We not doing discounts for lifetime tenure? We assuming you wouldn’t have flamed out of biglaw in 3 years and be working some $200k lifestyle gig at 50? Fucking frauds

Right now tuition at top schools is set based on some function of Biglaw junior associate pay. I wonder if you'll see schools just blatantly having students agree to pay the schools a set percentage of their first ten years' compensation. On top of every dollar that they can charge in tuition of course.

The law schools have inserted themselves into big law hiring to extract all the value of the kids

All you'd have to do is have law firms recruit from the top bar exam scores, or LSAT scores, etc - rather than the top law schools / law school grades, and tuition would drop by 90%.
