Believe it or not, a huuuuuge amount of the nation's aluminized plastic (glitter) production is used in radar absorbent coatings. It's really interesting how they do it. Basically they use a powerful magnetic field to orient the polarized reflective surfaces such that they're transparent to incoming radar waves, with reflection directed only towards highly absorbent gyroid structural media.
