very simple, elegant, but not massively interesting - vegetables and a tomato vinaigrette salad, chicken with tarragon cream, berry sponge, meh
the "British-French" cocktail sounds revolting - I like gin, I like pastis a *LOT*, but combining the two sounds LJL ghastly those completely different flavors do *NOT* complement each other but rather they violently oppose each other
I'm surprised they didn't shoehorn any wines from southern England on to the wine list, there aren't many but there are a couple of decent ones
