Doc put me on 5 mg of Crestor. Otherwise all good. Not even pre-diabetic and my BMI is healthy. No hypertension. I have no problem popping 5mg of Crestor. it's very well tolerated. but the more I look into it, a ton of actually smart cardiologists (as opposed to the midwits on my HMO) make an evidence-based case for it being more about insulin resistance and other factors, not LDL.
