if i have a potpourri thought of low importance that i want to discuss at 3 am there's nothing else to do with it really. i'm not going to sit down and write labored poetry about mushroom identification or the star wars holiday special and at least i know that if i poast it here the handful of people who are here just to chit chat might get and similarly reciprocate some amusement from it
