Date: July 26th, 2025 5:48 AM Author: Anti-suffrogate I applied online after reading someone's poast awhile back, not thinking I would succeed. I got burned out from work and quit two years ago. I'm 55 and can't get SS until I'm 62, so I figured it couldn't hurt to apply. It only took 6 months to get approved for SSDI and I'll be getting $3,917 per month until I die.
I've mainly been living modestly off my VA disability and savings for the past couple of years.
I own a small home free and clear and have no children or wife to support. My 401K "retirement" account is only around $200,000. Despite many financial failures throughout my life, I can't believe I never have to work again.
I will be living pretty comfortably on roughly $8,000/mo. God is Good!
