That’s a pretty sweet deal. I’ve played the double cut 6 string a lot and like it. The pickups are loud

yeah? I thought it came with passive bartolinis? that was my only gripe. the pickups seemed a bit sterile though thats a fixable problem.

I ran it through my helix and an orange 1x15 and a REL 12” sub and it sounded good imo. Was using a bunch of effects and eq and stuff though

i've never been a big pedals or effects guy. which model helix? how much effort and time does it take to learn how to use it and find usable tones?

I started putting together a modest pedal board today. So far it's just a tuning pedal, sansamp DI, and boss OC3. I have an electroharmonix micro synth en route too. Anything else I should add. Probably need a compression pedal and maybe chorus.

I have the Helix LT which is pretty cheap now that the new one came out (talk to doodikoff about the new one it’s 180). It’s got basically more pedals and amps and cabs than you could ever imagine using in every category and can run through your existing pedal setup.

I also use the helix native plugin in Logic Pro which is the same thing but computer.
