Mango has become thoroughly integrated into the fruit culture: mango with chile, lime and salt, chamoy, fruit cups, aguas frescas, paletas, candies, nectars, licuados and salsas. Mexico also developed important local mango populations and cultivars such as Ataulfo and Manila types.

The Caribbean and tropical South America. Mango is very common as fresh fruit and in juices, nectars, batidos, preserves, desserts, hot sauces and chutneys. Jamaica, Haiti and Trinidad, for example, have long-established local cultivars; FAO lists cultivars such as Jamaican Bombay Green, Haitian Madame Francis and Trinidadian Julie."
