they backload the budget with various provisions that expire to make it work with debt ceiling and cbo requirements. the important thing to look at is the next four years, which as this shows has the deficit % decreasing. after that is just bullshit because the next administration will do whatever.

All I care to look at is next year.

I think what you're saying is that stuff like the TCJA is meant to expire so they assume that if it's renewed until 2029 that 2030 has higher tax revenues. But either way that's fucking stupid because we'll be Ruined by then. So why am I hearing about the CBO all the time lately. Omg, thcoring! I get it. It's not your fault — you're just an Indian poaster and I shouldn't shoot the messenger — but why not just look at 2026 and try to make the numbers go down?

we should. we dont have the will. im just saying the % of deficient spending is doing down in the short term, which is Good imo, but the fact we're continuing to deficit spend at all is indeed fraud and lies imho. btw im Tall.

How do we "not have the will?" This country doesn't give a fuck what happens to Losers and Scumbags. We routinely sacrifice people at the altar of capitalism/jewry/Clique.

There actually is will and it's nbd. As I've said, every single time the government does insane shit, no one does anything to stop it.

The Trump admin acted like they were going to actually try to solve this problem by using tariffs as leverage to refinance the existing debt but then they Pussied Out and now we're just going to continue to Print Infinite Money for boomers and brown people
