They are large open third places often with tons of outdoor space and games (and even sometimes playgrounds) for kids.
Meeting a few other couples at a brewery to nurse a beer or two in the afternoon, or have a meal, while the kids play is fun.
Nothing drives childless redditors more insane than seeing happy children and parents at a brewery.
