And when taking carryon they actually weighed my bookbag(personal item) as well and said I'm over the limit but they're doing me a favor for letting me on. They just announced everyone who got through using only a mobile pass must go to the gate to check if their carryon qualifies. They basically treat people like cattle. Either way you're spending 12hours to fly 8hours overseas in a space that's worse than a 1* hotel.
