If EVs are so great they shouldn't be subsidized at this point in their evolution, and Trump should not have to appoint a Democratic friend of Elon's to NASA so that SpaceX can get more contracts. It’s dependent on solar/wind projects as the battery enables power to be stored and deployed during off peak times. These projects are heavily dependent on the investment tax credit.
Elon doesn’t want to publicly say this is a major issue since these credits aren’t popular among MAGA so he’s attacking the main weakness of the bill (adding literal trillions to the deficit). |
