Hypothetical: For every $1 million you take, your head grows 10%. You have microcephaly. How much money do you take?
Let’s say you have microcephaly, which means your head is smaller than average. Now imagine there’s a deal where every time you take $1 million, your head gets 10% bigger.
The average adult head is about 56 cm around. Yours is about 40 cm. So how many millions would it take to grow your head to a normal size?
Because the growth is by 10% each time, it adds up fast — it’s exponential. After the first million, your head would be 44 cm. Then 48.4 cm after two million. Then 53.24 cm after three. After four million dollars, your head would be around 58.6 cm — just above average.
So you’d need about $4 million to grow your head from 40 cm to a typical adult size.
Anything beyond that, and you’re in cartoon territory. But hey, if you're cool with that, keep collecting.
