Russian oil exports through Baltic ports completely halted - link

Ukraine should place their highest defense priority on continuing attacks on these ports. Half of Russian oil exports go through these Baltic ports, and they are missing out on the highest oil prices in years as a result of the attacks. |

I know I'm a Ukrainemo and biased, but for little old Ukraine to be royally fucking Russia in their most valuable infrastructure targets, on the freaking Baltic Sea is incredible.

There's a long history of doing that in war- if we had concentrated on Germany's synthetic oil production in WW2 it would have shortened the war. Instead we hit it for a while then moved onto the next shiny object.
Ukraine never focused so hard on actual export facilities, maybe because they hadn't built enough long-range drones. Now oil prices are so high that it would be ridiculous to target anything else or to concentrate any spare manufacturing on anything but long-range drones. |
