I always liked Sebadoh more than Pavement as far as 'slacker' bands went

i think it's because pavement was more of a pseudo-slacker band whose songs actually have a weird sense of agitation and paranoia, while sebadoh was more relaxed about the whole thing.

brother, the entire Bakesale album is fucking 1800000. I still remember the first time I heard "Not Too Amused" and was hooked.
"Careful" kicks ass too. Entire album is good.
Love Pavement too but can't think of an album as good start to finish from them
