Was Metroid ever good

Date: January 12th, 2026 5:51 PM Author: Unholy charcoal hospital After watching 500 Metroid videos on YouTube, my curiosity was piqued. Got Samus Returns for 3DS. I cannot play the game for more than like 45 minutes without being like “fuck this” and putting it down. Had the same experience with Super Metroid in 1995.
Also I have Huge Hands so using a handheld for an action game sucks. 7” dick btw.
A lot of Nintendo games are like this. There are very few that are addictive enough to hook you the way that western Scumgineers strive to get gamers hooked on their insipid, predatory shovelware.

Game Boy Advance: Metroid Fusion, Metroid: Zero Mission - Both 10/10 masterpieces
Nintendo DS: Metroid Prime Pinball, Metroid Prime: Hunters - Didn't play this shovelware shit
Wii: Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Metroid Prime Trilogy, Metroid: Other M - Didn't play, looked. Trash
Nintendo 3DS: Metroid Prime: Federation Force - utter shit, Metroid: Samus Returns - excellent game
Nintendo Switch: Metroid Dread - 180 game, Metroid Prime 4 - looks really bad |
