If you're a college level player it means you've given up on going pro and are just playing at the college level because you love the game, but aren't good enough for any of the pro leagues. |

Playing college soccer is basically an admission that you aren't good enough to go pro at all. Soccer isn't like football, baseball, or basketball where it's expected to play college first before turning pro. |
