"autism" is complete fraud. its a combination of what we used to just call retarded/special = all those kids are now "autistic" and what would've been previously normal children never learning how to interact irl in the age of screens. we've expanded the definition in *both* directions such that it includes basically every type of mental retardation and generic poor socialization |
