Europe is sick and doomed. They offer nothing. Iran was a good test case for allies. The Russians decimated the French shadow empire in Africa and the EU did nothing. They have no future. The massive uptick we're seeing in productivity from AI also explains tightening immigration in the US.

And oil does matter. 8% is huge and China has zero control over iran. The US just turned the spigot down on energy to SE Asia (while US exports boom), and neighboring countries are choosing the US.
Tbf I think China is being propped up as a bogeyman pretext for gown men playing irl Risk on the map. Some of these future plans also remind me too much of Bush II and this idea they had everything figured out. |
