And e-bikes are 180. They are not a substitute for a car, at least in most parts of the country. You need a car if it is hot or cold or rainy or if you need a full load of groceries. But LJL at the fat Americans who think they need a car to pick up a gallon of milk or go to the dentist's office. Since I started using my e-bike to run one-person errands on nice days, I have lost 10-15 pounds and saved a significant amount of money on gas. Also, what part of "an e-bike is not a substitute for a car" was unclear to you in my poast? If your parents can afford to buy you a car, that's fantastic. Then you can go see your friends on rainy days, too. But if they can't, I think seeing friends via e-bike is healthier than sitting in front of your phone.

Seriously, this sounds to me like some conservative talking head decided that e-bikes are "woke," so a bunch of mindless reptiles decided to rage against them.
