On the whole, yes, I think the movie needed better dialogue, but here and there, we got good one-liners/moments. Also, take note that my critique is of a film that has been lionized above the rest, so I'm not saying it's a bad film. It was good/entertaining. If it wins, it will be because it took so long to shoot, TBH. I liked the film, and again, some of its subtleties, but I wouldn't give its writing much love either.
