they think all of their problems will be resolved at the end of some period of time, by a mysterious deus ex machina (usually "The Economy"). Through their privileged lives in happy times of growth, this supposition has proved correct. But it is an erroneous inference when weighted on the scales of history.
It is due to this boomer fallacy, in large measure, that ruinous ideas like stuffing the country with Somali refugees are met with wide acclaim.
The future will pay for the boomers' mistakes -- will we make them pay for what they've done to us?
