$200,000 needs to be reinvested which is 2% growth per year
Leaving you $200,000 to spend
Can you survive 40 years where your $10 mil gets whittled down in purchasing power 13% a year? |

I figure I don’t need anywhere near $10m to retire. We will have substantial income in retirement from my wife’s pension and social security and I don’t even like doing anything anyway. Maybe a camping trip a couple times per year. I think hotels are dumb and expensive and I don’t like crossing the pond as it’s called. Would much rather just be left alone. |
