Why couldn't it be a fucking salt of the earth soybean farmer that has the exact same ideas? I don't want billionaires to continue running buckwild while people who actually work hard get fuck all.

It's a national embarrassment that people have copped double H and work at McDonald's.

Meh, he's the second least oligarchic major candidate behind sanders IMO. He seems like a dude who legitimately cares about the United States, and won't have a bunch of puppet strings attached.

LOL u think they're going to give up their strangle hold on the entire fucking earth's economy without a fight? people fight to the death over parking spots - think about what they'd do

the only answer is anarchism

The answer to "how will elites retain power" is probably never "anarchism."

Anarchism, at least in the actions that anarchists advocate, is just a way for liberal elites to subvert democracy and promote their own power.

There was an anarchist incident in a city where I was living a few years ago, sort of in the aftermath of Occupy Wall Street. A group of anarchists moved into an abandoned building and refused to leave. When the building's owner complained and a cop responded, they threatened the cop. Because of previous incidents involving anarchists, the city took it very seriously and sent in a SWAT team that removed the anarchists.

Cue the standard and utterly predictable shitlib whining about how horrible it was that the anarchists were treated so badly. The anarchists weren't doing anything innovative or beyond the pale; they were just a slightly more liberal version of the local shitlib professional protesters.

the general principle of anarchism to me is that ljl @ a stranger looking out for you. just as simple as that. it's just impossible, 0% chance of it ever happening on a grand scale. like 1=1. if you want to accept an inherently unjust society, okay thats fine i guess.

yeah there are eccentrics and some huge assholes who are into anarchism but that doesn't detract from the reality that it's impossible to have a just society when things are organized like this.

not saying that i (or anyone today) knows how to implement this, or that it would 'be implemented'. ideally it would be an organic process that happens over decades. im just saying that it infuriates me that people hate the 2 party system, hate big government, hate abuse of authority, hate detached bureaucrats, love freedom and love life. anarchism is a way to solve these problems, and if were talking metanarratives it's the next stage after democracy if we start at monarchy.

If you aren't a billionaire already, it's impossible to run a major national campaign without sucking up to about a thousand cancerous special interest groups.

Can you imagine anybody besides Trump kicking up this much dust? His combination of wealth, celebrity, and straight up charisma is actually extremely rare.

he's socially one step up from a blue-collar prole. he's salt of the earth enough/outsider enough.
