This is a split decision. I like Arkan more as a person and think he has more redeeming qualities, but I think with his mental illness his life is torture. Spaceporn at least nominally has a normal life and gets to argue Big Federal Cases like the one where the mailman tooted a horn that caused an accident in a Negligent Act of Horseplay.

I'd rather be Arkan if I had any agency to change my circumstances but if I have locked in syndrome maybe spaceporn because he at least has an Asian Wife.

She also really likes to do dishes and household chores. At dinner she is always the first to run around and pick up everyone's plates. It's awkward because there's a bunch of lazy white people sitting around the table and the black lady is rushing around to clear it and do dishes so we all get up to help her to avoid our own white guilt. But she's always like nah, it's okay, sit there and chill. She likes being a maid for whites for some reason. But we never ask her to do this. She's just really motivated.
