you can pull up the videos of all the relatively young people wearing the Shitlib Team gear for this guy, dressed up, cosplaying as Shitlib Team members, going out to stump and vote for this guy. it's just a tribal identity. none of these people even care about his actual "policy" positions on anything or probably even know what they are, other than some sort of vague sense of "The Socialism, Which Is Heckin Good"

i don't think it makes any sense anymore to analyze politics in the US in any way other than looking at tribal identity. sometimes the tribal lines are straight up ethnic divides, sometimes they're Red Team / Blue Team. but nobody is voting on "policy" anymore

i didn't follow this race but i assume that he was also a genuinely *better* Avatar Of Shitlibbery than the other candidates. he seems like he knows how to talk and present himself correctly and savvily within The Shitlib Cinematic Universe
